honestly tua fandom trying to attribute a certain sexuality/identity to a character because of the way they dress/talk/move is so tiring

i get that you want to headcanon vanya as a lesbian or bi and i’m all for it, but if she isn’t straight it’s not because of her wardrobe, it’s because she likes girls

you want to see klaus as a non-binary? cool! the canon shouldn’t stop you, but in canon klaus is ok with identifying as a man and the fact that he wears skirts and paints his nails and uses the eyeliner doesn’t automatically mean he’s not secure in his gender identity, it also doesn’t mean that diego can’t assume klaus is into girls

saying that ‘oh vanya wears a certain type of clothing so she’s totally a lesbian!’ or 'who in their right mind can look at klaus and think that he identifies as a man and can be into anyone besides dudes’ is close-minded

people cry about toxic masculinity but as soon as someone doesn’t fit into the stereotypical man role they are the first to shout 'gay! not a man!’ and it’s like… why

like sure headcanons are always cool, but this overwhelming confidence that a certain type of clothes and behavior speaks for the person in regards of their identity is scary to me

clothes, make up, behavior don’t mean shit, sexuality is who you are attracted to, gender identity is who you feel and know you are, your outlook can sometimes represent that and sometimes it may not, so why are we still thinking that a piece of fabric decides who the character is

The entire main cast of Star Wars just saying a giant fuck you to JJ Abrams and Disney is truly one of the most iconic things I’ve seen. John Boyega making an Instagram post just to say that Finn was absolutely not going to tell Rey he loved her which included a tweet about Finn being in love with Poe? Amazing. Daisy Ridley looking JJ Abrams, the man who decided to make r*ylo cannon while completely ignoring Finn and Poe’s romantic potential, in the eye and saying that finnpoe is the superior ship? An insane power move. And then Oscar Isaac? Taking about how finnpoe should have become canon in every single interview? Specifically calling out the “Disney overlords” for not being ready to include a gay relationship in their movies? Absolutely sensational! Literally the most legendary thing I have ever witnessed! I’m kinda concerned he’s gonna get hunted down by some Disney assasins but damn, I would honestly die for that man at this point
